Creating Safer Classrooms
Staff and students work more effectively and have more positive experiences when they feel safe and valid in their environments. With a strong focus on practical strategies, this training will empower education staff to create actively accepting and inclusive workplaces and classrooms.

Gain a better understanding of the experiences of LGBTIQA+ people and develop skills that will help you become a better ally

Learn the most up to date and affirming language to use within your school

Learn practical strategies to help gender diverse students feel seen and accepted

Gain skills to help you diversify the content that you deliver in your classrooms

Learn to recognise and call out unacceptable remarks and behaviours
Participants will receive a certificate of completion and reference sheet summarising the points covered.
